This is a listing of plants from our living collection. We have an active exchange program with other arboreta and botanical institutions worldwide, including publishing an Index Seminum and regular plant sales, but that is the extent of our distribution.

Additional information and questions about the plant collections of The Dawes Arboretum or general questions about the care of plants can be emailed to information@dawesarb.org.

The accession information is the data recorded at the time of a plants arrival at The Dawes Arboretum. It includes the name(s) received with the plants (even if suspected to be different), date of arrival, type of material received, quantity, source of material, provenance, other identifying numbers and wild collection data where applicable. This search returns any of the 6,455 accessions currently living on the grounds of The Dawes Arboretum at the time of the last data upload.

How to Search

Enter the accession information you are looking for to display a list of results. % can be used as a wildcard character. Not case sensitive. The Dawes Arboretum accession numbers all begin with a “D”. For example, enter “d1999″ to  return all accessions from 1999.
