Red Barn Area
A natural outdoor classroom for all ages, the Red Barn Area offers meadows, a pond with boardwalk, a wetland, wooded areas and rustic barn.
Use the 1.5 miles of trails to explore the many ecosystems located in this area. Butterflies are plenty a well as dragonflies and damselflies. You may see the tracks of a coyote or red fox crossing the path in front of you or cach a glimpse of a water snake taking a swim across the pond. The Red Barn provides shelter for a picnic lunch or just a chance to take a break from the sun. While hiking you may run into children on a school field trip or hear a summer camp counselor explaining the different species that call the pond home. A peaceful destination not to be missed.
