The Dawes Arboretum welcomes donations made in honor or in memory of a loved one or special event and planned gifts which allow our most committed supporters to make the gift of a lifetime.
Tribute program highlights include:
- Tree Planting – $250 (have an unmarked tree planted in a natural or restored ecosystem and notice sent to a loved one)
- Honorary Plant – $1,000 (a laser engraved label is placed at an established tree or shrub and notice sent to a loved one)
- Honorary Bench – $3,000 (a laser engraved label is mounted on a newly placed bench and notice sent to a loved one)
- Accommodation of Ashes – $5,000 (accommodates final resting place for ashes including a laser engraved label placed at an established plant)
Many members and friends of The Dawes Arboretum request that memorial donations be made in lieu of flowers after a loved one’s passing. We are able to provide memorial envelopes to the funeral home.
