April 1, 11am to 2pm
The Arboretum will be giving away a native Iris seedling (while supplies last) to kick off Ohio Native Plant Month and Arbor Day activities! This giveaway is included with Arboretum admission.
April 2, 1 to 2pm
Join our horticulture specialist as we learn how to awaken our gardens from their winter nap and prepare them for the life and abundance of spring. We will be discussing best practices in horticulture for maintaining everything in your garden from your tools to the soil, and sharing opportunities for hands-on experience with these skills. Join us virtually for Rampin’ Up Your Dinner, where attendees will learn how to make a ramp pesto pasta and a ramp cheeseball using wild ramps! Click here to register.
April 9, 2:30 to 3:30pm
Take a hike with an Arboretum educator on the East Side! Together we will walk the trails and learn basic identification skills. Click here to register.

Don’t miss our Arbor Day Festival! Help us celebrate all things trees with hands-on activities for kids, mini-talks from our plant experts, tree climbing, live music and more!
