The Dawes Arboretum spans nearly 2,000 acres, leaving plenty to do and to see on all of your visits. However, this summer there are additional opportunities to engage with The Arboretum!

Join a guided walking tour daily at 10am to explore various portions of The Arboretum. These tours last about 45 minutes and are free with admission! Check in at the Visitors Center to ensure tour availability.

Additionally, the Daweswood House Museum, once the country home of Arboretum co-founders Beman and Bertie Dawes is available for guided tours, Monday through Friday at 2pm and weekends at 12pm and 2pm. See and hear the history behind antiques and memorabilia from the Dawes family. You don’t want to miss an up-close view of “Rathskeller,” a basement area that displays shovels used by more than 100 notable men and women who dedicated trees at The Arboretum. Be sure to look up to view their signatures on the ceiling. Expect to spend one hour touring this incredible home. Daweswood House Museum tours are included with admission. Check in at the Visitors Center to ensure tour availability. Photography is not permitted inside Daweswood House Museum.

We hope to see you soon!
