These three magnificent ants are located along our Japanese Garden Trail. It is 25’ in length, 12’ in width and 10’ in height. The body is made up of bent willow on armature and the eyes are carved red cedar. These huge ants are also 725 pounds in weight.
Did you know? Ants are social insects and within a colony there are workers, soldiers, drones and the queen. Each of these roles have different responsibilities for the colony.
